About
Helen Hopkin
I began my career in complementary health in 2000, training first in Aromatherapy and Sports Massage at the Sandra Day Academy, now part of Penny Price Aromatherapy.
Soon after, I qualified in on-site Acupressure Massage, and divided my time between complementary therapy, a career in sports development and bringing up my young family.
Within sports development, I worked in partnership with health professionals, workplaces, schools and sports clubs, exploring different ways of promoting mental and physical wellbeing at work, in schools and colleges, and throughout the wider community.
During this time, I began a provision of corporate on-site massage, helping employees reduce physical tension and relieve workplace-related stress. To add to my expertise in this area, I completed a Yoga teaching diploma, which enabled me to offer further exercises and preventative advice for both corporations and individual clients.
In 2012, I earned my Reflexology diploma, and have since added specialisms to help treat individuals with specific conditions, all while learning more about this fascinating ancient therapy.
My passion for health and wellbeing spans all aspects of my life, from keeping fit through running and yoga, to spending valuable family time with my husband, son and daughter, along with our adorable rescue dog, Nancy, and our beautiful cat, Luna.
